Puliyogare Travels that initially started out as a fun blog showcasing food and travel across India has morphed into a platform that curates culinary experiences – ranging from culinary holidays, curating food festivals, organising thematic presentations on heirloom food and taking regional cuisines to a discerning audience by means of Cookery demonstrations. Most importantly it has been documenting traditional practices, cooking methods, recipes and local legends from parts of rural India.
This year on, with an idea of taking food to a wider audience, it has put together -Food Culture Collective. This will be yet another initiative to get people to relate to the vast history our food has to offer. The outcome from this series is to showcase our culinary traditions/ heritage and make people realise that the recipe one savours today is an outcome over several conquests in the region and that when they eat something, they actually bite into a slice of history.
